Ghost Review

GHOST is a Hindi feature film in horror genre which released on 13th January, 2012. This film is written and directed by Puja Jatinder Bedi. Does this film horrify you? Read ahead to know the truth..

Story : Sayali Bhagat is a doctor in a hospital. Lots of killings are taking place. A detective, Shiney Ahuja enters into the frame to solve the case and whenever a killing takes place, he delivers a dialogue- 'मैं कातिल को ढूंढकर रहूँगा'. The lady doctor Sayali Bhagat helps him in the investigation to find the culprit; meanwhile a love story also develops between them. A time comes when Shiney Ahuja feels that he too is getting linked with the murders i.e. The ghost!

Is he able to find out the murderer? Who is the murderer? Why is he killing them? These are some questions which are answered in the rest of the film.

Acting : Shiney Ahuja appears to be flat in acting. Nothing worth to mention about him! Sayali Bhagat is so and so in acting but a little above than normal in proving herself glamorous by showing some parts of her skin. Rest of the GHOSTS are GHOSTS!

Script : It is childish and very weak. There is nothing to be scarred about. Of course you can laugh at their folly instead of getting scared.

Music : It is not up to the mark and doesn't scare you.

Direction : It is very weak and childish. The director is confused and instead of horrifying you, as the title suggests, it takes you here and there on different tracks and divert your mind. The make ups and gate ups you see cause you irritation instead of scarring you.

Plus Points : None

Minus Points : Almost all

Conclusion : Since its budget is very low, it is likely to recover its making cost because a group of audiences are fixed for such kind of films; whether it's bad or good. Hence this film may recover its making cost to some extent, especially from single screen. It is surely going to be thrown out ASAP from multiplexes.

Verdict : Not a scary film. Watch only you have nothing else to do.
