Rating: 2/5

One Line Review: A real long-drive, full of guns and roses unwrapping surprising tender moments in one's life.

Positive Points: A message hidden in the story - 'When you are jumbled with the incidents happening in your life, a short and sweet holiday can gift you a new perspective to tackle your life tactfully'.

Negative Points: Feeble screenplay, weak performances, dull moments may haunt a viewer at some points.

Plot: Priyanka Lalwani (Adah Sharma) and Shammi Suri (Dev Goel) are childhood buddies. Priyanka works with a BPO of the company named Medical Mantra. Shammi is a banker by his profession, but an in and out connoisseur of computer, being a computer expert. Both these friends decide to go on a journey from Mumbai to Pune on the New Year night to attend a wedding.

And now the movie take offs! This journey which would have been normally taken around three hours to complete, it takes an entire night. The journey commences with an enthusiastic start by both the youngsters, but gradually the weird and wacky things start happening, transforming this Mumbai-Pune voyage into a merry-go-round trip. Some of the incidents include the car runs short of the fuel, admitting the friend in the hospital and running away with injured friend due to the fear of unwanted police complaint ruckus.

But at the end of the journey, the complete road trip turns to be a blessing in disguise!

To see what exactly makes this real long-drive memorable and blessing in disguise, enjoy the show!

Direction And Other Technical Aspects: The director Jyotin Goel has come up with a story containing bits and pieces of pulse-pounding adventure, an average quotient of comedy and romance. Though the starting portion of the movie seems interesting, gradually it begins to go off-track at certain points. The film starts losing its sheen due to some unessential dull moments forcefully stuffed in the story.

It could have been better in terms of share of the comedy, more fascinating moments to keep the viewers chock-a-block with laughter, fun and overall making this flick zanier. There is a big room for improvement to add a dash of sensible humor in this tale. The movie is also the launch vehicle for Dev Goel, who is the son of producer-director Jyotin Goel. Keeping all these deteriorating components aside, the movie suggests the viewers to snatch a holiday to gain a brighter look at their life, as the journey can leave you astonished with such surprising strengths or positive sides of yours, which you would have not noticed else. In a nutshell, this movie offers good entertainment and one can see it peacefully giving rest to his/her brain. Camerawork is quite good.

Performance: Dev Goel has performed well considering this as his first film. However, at certain moments, one can find this actor with chocolate boy looks as the replica of Bobby Deol in terms of giving facial expressions and especially the voice tone. Adah Sharma, who is just two movies old in this glitzy industry and has moved her image from a psychopath in her earlier movie to a chirpy girl in this flick. She has performed her part very conveniently and with elegance. Rati Agnihotri, who plays the lead actor's mother, appears on the screen for a fraction of second but with an intact charm as earlier.

Anupam Kher being an undeniable gem of actor, suits in his role as Bengali Professor and portrayed it with full justice. Juhi Chawla plays a 'hatke' character of a doctor, who is an avid 'paan' lover. Sanjay Dutt in the character of the Inspector Karan Karate, was excellent as ever.

Music: Sangeet Haldipur and Siddharth Haldipur incepted a good quality of tuneful music. The dance number 'Ding Dang Ding Dang' sung by Mika Singh is enough to make youngsters burn the dance floor with this track. Apart from this, 'Nachlay Nachlay' is a melodic one. 'Pri And Me' song has a fine flowing tune and lively rhythm. The music director duo has penned down lyrics containing good hinglish and blending well with the storyline.

Final Verdict: If you are an ardent fan of Sanjubaba, watch the film just for him. Overall, it is a onetime watch flick if you are in pursuit of a film with fresh faces and average story.
