Rating: 2.5/5

The movie is produced by J.D Majethia, written and directed by Aatish Kapadia. It consists of actors like Supriya Pathak, J. D Majethia, Kirti Kulhari, Rajeev Mehta, Nimisha Vakahria. Kesar Majethia and Markand Soni are the child artists. There are a couple of cameos too by Satish Shah, Deven Bhojnani and Paresh Ganatra. It is an adaptation of its serial.

The movie is about an insane Gujarati family where the children in the family seem to be more intelligent than any other elder within the family. The basic plot of the movie is Himanshu's i.e. Hansa's brother's marriage. The movie begins with Saticsh Shah arriving at the door of the Parekh Family in the form of the Almighty to distribute 'Akal ke laddoos' but the family believes none of it. And from thereon the family gets into weird troubles. Himanshu has a weird ambition of having the most memorable kind of love story. But, as destiny would have it he falls in love with his neighbor- Parminder. Everyone accepts the relation and get them engaged and on the eve of his wedding ceremony it all of a sudden strikes him that this love story is nothing like the memorable love story he thought he would have. Besides, if he gets married now he will never be able to even achieve one.

He tells his family that he expected some drama, some conflict...something that all typical Bollywood movies have in his relation too. His dumb family, understanding his desires, makes preparations to stop the wedding. Thereafter, he sets out to achieve his ambition of a legendary love story by gaining back the love of Parminder.

Each and every actor compliments each other. Their comic timing is good. The performances were highly exaggerated but that was understandingly the requirement of the script. The children look cute. And the cameo's given by Satish Shah, Deven Bhojnani and Paresh Ganatra and even Farah Khan are really good.

The music score given by Raju Singh suits the movie but doesn't seem good at all. Besides, there's not much you can expect in this aspect.

The script of the movie is totally dumb just like the characters. It doesn't seem like it's properly put together. It is haphazard. It could have been much better. Even love story between Himanshu and Parminder doesn't seem true. It doesn't at all convince the audience. Neither does those scenes which involve the crime angel i.e. the suicide part of the movie. The only saving grace is the courtroom sequence in the climax of the movie.

The work of Astish Kapadia is not good. It seems that he is fit for serials only. Films need something different approach. Though, he has dealt with some scenes like the courtroom one well but as it turns out to be the entire movie turned out be just like the 'Maha episode' of 3 hours.  The entire series of events just unfolds typically like a serial.

The writer and the director of the film has tried to make you laugh even when it was not required. It seems all are mentally retarded. For example even the death of Hansa and Himanshu's father is dripping with madness and insanity. For the condolence they sing a parody of songs like "Beedi Jalaile" and "Bheege Hoonth Tere" You will get irritated instead of enjoying.

The cinematography of the movie is good. It includes a lot of colors with vibrancy. The movie is full with madness. There are only some scenes and dialogues which are funny otherwise rest are irritating. They just seem silly. Maybe, they assume the audience too to keep their brains away and watch the movie. It consists of a lot of PJ's but thankfully all clean jokes with no double meanings.

The movie is not good at all in fact it is 'Boring'. After a certain point you may even begin feeling where have you landed amongst a mentally retarded family. It begins to irritate you after some time. The movie basically, just lies somewhere in between absurdity and absolute ridiculousness. It follows the basic template of the serials.

The film is not at all worth watching. It is neither entertaining nor with any good message. Total wastage of money and time.
