LOOT is a Hindi feature film which released on 4th October, 2011. This film has been produced by Suniel Shetty and Shabbir Boxwala.

Story : This film is about Loot which means robbery. The main characters of this film are Pandit (played by Govinda), Akbar (played by Jaaved Jaffery), Builder (played by Suniel Shetty) and Wilson (played by Mahaakshay Chakraborty). The group of these four people make plans to loot but the result is different and everytime they strike wrong person or say wrong target. In the whole movie they keep trying to get out of those quirky situations in which they fall due to their folly.

This is a fun film's plot but does this film create enough fun which could utilise your money?

Performance : Some years back Govinda was considered as the king of comedy. But in this film he fails to give his best. However, Suniel Shetty maintains his excellent performance what he gave in HERAPHERI, PHIR HERAPHERI etc. Mahaakshay Chakrobarty is average. Shweta looks sexy but performance wise she will not impress you.

Script : From the title it appears either a high paced action thriller or a fun film but content wise it is none of these. The script is dull with lots of confusion which irritate you instead of making you smile or laugh.

Music : Music of the film is below average.

Direction : The director Rajneesh fails to impress you. He is unable to handle Govinda and some other characters. He fails to create fun or thrill. The blame can't be given to the director completely because even the best directors fail to give their best when the script is poor.

Plus points : Locations are plus points of this film but of no use when the script is poor. Why these producers spend so much money on locations etc. but less money in buying scripts no one can understand. Ultimately, locations do not attract viewers if the content is poor.

Verdict : You can watch this film for Suniel Shetty otherwise to watch this film in theaters is wastage of money and time.
