MUJHSE FRAAANDSHIP KAROGE is a Hindi feature film which released on 14th September, 2011. This film has been produced under the banner of Y-Films which is subsidiary of Yash Raj Films. Its producer is Ashish Patil.

Story : This is the story of 4 youngsters of modern world who can't live without internet usage. These four youngsters are Rahul, Vishal, Preity and Malvika. All have different qualities and are masters in their fields. For example, Vishal is a writer who is of cool nature whereas Rahul is a rockstar; Preity is a photographer and doesn't like boys whereas Malvika is doing fashion designing course.

The film takes a turn when some of them start using their fake identities on the internet. While concealing their original identities, they introduce themselves to be someone else. Preity pretends herself to be Malvika whereas Vishal pretends to be Rahul on the Facebook and they start interacting with each other on the Facebook i.e. they start fraaandshipping each other as the title of the film suggest.

What happens later? What happens when their real identity is revealed? What about the love story which started in such strange manner? These are the answers which make the rest of the film.

Performance : Saqib Saleem plays the role of Vishal and justifies his character. He doesn't let you feel that he is a newcomer. Saba Azad has played the role of Preity who too is good. Her looks as well as her performance are good because she has successfully played a complicated character. Nishant Dahiya is also okay in his role and fits into the character of Rahul. Tara D'Souza looks beautiful in the role of Malvika and has done her part well.

Script : Its screenplay is written by Rajesh Narsimhan and Anvita Dutt Guptan which is good and they have written it keeping in mind about the mind and activities of today's youth.

Music : Music has been composed by Raghu Dixit which is good and youth would like it.

Direction : Its director is Nupur Asthana who is lucky to get good script. So she has managed to direct well and define her characters. She could not do well as a screenplay writer of CHANCE PE DANCE and her other writing works but here she is able to do well due to good script. She should better make a career in direction rather than writing.

Conclusion : It is a fresh story of modern age youth who spend most of their time on the internet and connect to each other through social networking sites such as Facebook, Orkut etc. The director as well the writer, have presented the content in a well manner. However, it appears to be dragged at some places. Today's youth will like it and this film may get advantage of it in the same way as the film PYAR KA PANCHNAMA got.

Verdict : It's a low budget film with fresh star cast; yet better than a few high budget films with big star cast which released recently. No problem in watching it!
