PHHIR is a horror film which released on 12th July, 2011. This film has been directed by Girish Dhamija and written & produced by Vikram Bhatt.

Story : This is the story of Dr. Kabir Malhotra (Rajneesh Duggal) who has taken birth again (phhir). Actually he had done something wrong in his previous life and once he was dead his soul kept on wandering and finding ways to rectify his bad deeds (in atonement) to good deeds. In his effort he takes birth again as Dr. Kabir.

He gets married to Sia (Roshni Chopra) in his present life but on day his wife disappears without telling him anything. He is shocked. He becomes mad to find her out and tries head over heels to trace her.

Disha (Adah Sharma) has God gifted talent to look into the future who helps him to find Sia.

What does Disha see in their future? Do they get success in finding Sia? Where has Sia vanished and why?

These are some questions which make rest of the film.

Performance : Rajneesh Duggal's acting is so and so. Roshni Chopra has tried to look glamorous and her acting is average.

Music : It stand nowhere in comparison to RAAJ (produced by the same producer some years back in the same genre).

Script : It is written by Vikram Bhatt who is becoming specialist in making horror films because he goes on directing, writing, producing horror films. But most of his films become monotonous because he repeats the same elements every time. His earlier film 1920 was better than this film.

Direction : Girish Dhamija has succeeded in directing this horror film partially because he could only make a few scenes scary. Rest scenes are dull and below average.

Conclusion : Lots of horror films are being made these days because they need low budget and you don't need big star cast for them. They also get you good revenue even though they are not hit and they attract average occupancy whether the film is good or bad. But only a few films are able to scare you. Rest is dull.

Verdict : It's an average film and if you have already seen some good horror movies you will not find anything new in it. But if you never watched horror films and want to watch one, you can go for it.
