Pyaar Ka Punchnama is a Hindi movie released on 20th May 2011.

Cast & Crew: The movie consists of no known names. So you find a full throttle of new actors like Kartik Tiwari, Divyendu Sharma, Rayo Bhakhirta, Nushrat, Ishita and Sonali.

Director, Producer & Banner: The movie is directed by Luv Ranjan under the banner of Wiacom 18 Motion Pictures and Wide Frame Pictures and it is produced by Abhishek Pathak. It is a movie in the comedy genre.

Story : The movie is basically about the ups and downs that take place in the relations between youngsters. Everybody knows that women are very complicated beings but still your life is incomplete without them. The story is about 3 bachelors Rajat (Kartik), Chaudhary (Rayo) and Liquid (Divyendu) who are busy working for their boring jobs and always envy men who had a woman in their life. They wished that they too had that someone special in their lives until they find their partners and get to know what a mess a relationship is actually.

Rajat falls in love with Neha, played by Nusrat. For him she was everything he had ever wished and since it was the initial days of love, it felt so wonderful! Then Rajat moves in to live with Nusrat and she becomes his life and not just a part of it!

On the other hand, Riya (i.e. Sonali) is the girlfriend of Varun. Who is Varun (Padam)? Varun is Chaudhary's acquaintance. Chaudhary helps Riya in finding a job and they really get along very well. That's when Riya falls in love with Chaudhary (because she feels that he understands her)!

Lastly, it's about Liquid who falls in love with Charu (Ishita). Charu happens to be the only girl he has ever spoken to in his life and though Charu absolutely adores him she only takes him as her friend that is because she is already in a long distance relationship with Abhijeet (Ravjeet) and if he did not exist may be Charu and Liquid would be one. Liquid takes this as his opportunity to prove his worth to her and does everything he could for her as her best friend. Only problem is thathe ends up being more her secretary instead of friend.

Anyways, the story revolves around these 3 love stories and how it deteriorates over time. The end of the movie turns out to be quite predictable!

The director, Luv, has put in a lot of effort to make the movie as entertaining as possible and it's evident. He was able to portray the reality of today's scenario as closely as possible but only in the initial half of the movie.

DOP: The cinematography of the movie is done well!

Editing : The editing could have been better.

Music : The music of the movie is done by Clinton Cerejo, Luv Ranjan, Hitesh Sonik and Luv Ranjan and consists of songs like Life Sahi hai, Baanwre, Koi aa raha pass hai, chak glaasi and the really catchy ones are Ishq na kariye kakke, sung by Mika Singh ad Earl, and Ban Gaya Kutta, sung by Mika gain.

Conclusion : The movie begins well but losses pace in the later half. There are some scenes in the movie which could actually lead you to a burst of laughter and can even help you forgive the makers for not having any plot for the movie. A whole lot of cuss words are used in the movie. The movie is solely dependent on the male actors. However, the performances by these young actors are quite good but, Diveyendu does stand out and among the girls it would be Nusrat who is worth a mention.

The movie does have good comedy scenes especially Rajat's of the tragedy of being in a relationship with a girl- that's a good one and you could certainly afford some laughs. All in all it is a good one time watch.

Verdict : Go for it to have some fun for at least a few minutes in this stressful life.
