Son Of Sardaar Review

One Line Review : A combo pack of Comedy, Action and Romance!

Story: The story is about Chandu and Randhawa families' revenge, which is going for the last 25 years. Jassi (Ajay Devgan) who lives in London. But for the sake of selling his ancestral property he has to return to his hometown Punjab. Before he returns, one his uncle tells him about his foe in his native land the story about their ancestral enmity. After knowing everything, he makes his journey from London to Punjab.

On the way to Punjab he meets Meet (Sonakshi Sinha). He falls in love with her in the first sight. His fate takes him to the home of Meet. Billu Paaji (Sanjay Dutt) is the head of Meet's family and the worst enemy of Randhawa's family. Billu Paaji's family had taken an oath that they finished off the last survival of Randhawa's family. But Meet's family believes in the saying - "Atithi Devo Bhavah". Once Meet's family comes to know that Jassi is none, but the same that they are waiting for the last 25 years to full fill their oath. But soon Jassi comes to know that he is inside his worst enemy's home and they can't kill him until he is inside their home. As a rule Chandu's family not harm any guest inside their home even their enemy. The only way to survive is to stay inside at their home , but Billu Paaji and his relatives finding a way to fish out him to their home and kill him as soon as possible.

Now what would he do? Would he fight back or run away secretly? How would he get his love?

All such queries are answered in the remaining part of the movie.

Performance: Ajay Devgn is excellent. Sanjay Dutt and Vindu Dara Singh are also brilliant. Sonakshi Sinha looks beautiful and has done her part very well. Salman Khan appears just for a few seconds, but he leaves his mark. Mukul Dev as a drunkard stands out. Juhi Chawla is also brilliant. Tanuja is also very good. Overall the all character are marvelous.

Script: Screenplay is good. Dialogues are very funny and powerful. There are many comical scenes in this film which will make you entertain.

Music: Music has been composed by Himesh Reshammiya. Most of the songs are super hit. Title song and 'Rani Main Tu Raja' are excellent. Background music is also up to the mark.

Other Technical Aspects: Action by Jai Singh Nijjar is brilliant. Cameraman has also done his job brilliantly. Choreography of a few songs is too good.

Direction: Ashwani Dhir has directed very well. He is too good in this film and has justified everything. You will see many scenes that is new to film industries.

Minus Points: Hardly Anything

Conclusion: It is a perfect family entertainer film and diwali gift from 'SOS' team.

Verdict: A must watch film with family!
