This is his story the Legend of Bhagat Singh. On the 23rd of March, 1931, three bodies are smuggled out of Lahore Central Jail via the back gate. They're taken to an isolated place, chopped up into pieces and surreptitiously cremated by British officers. The next day, this incident creates a national uproar throughout India. Later that day, a crowd of angry political activists gherao Mahatma Gandhi and accuse him of colluding in the execution of their hero.
