Many of us would remember that super hit song from the movie Pratigya revolving around Dharmendra – "Main Jatt yamla pagla deewana". Well its back this time! Not only as a song but with an entire movie named after it. Moreover, this it has not one but 3 Deols. That's right! The movie features Dharmendra, Sunny and Bobby Deol. Other actors along with them in the movie are Anupam Kher, Kuljeet Randhawa and Johnny Lever. The movie is directed by Samir Karnik.

Story: The movie begins in Canada is about Paramveer Singh Dhillon (Sunny Deol) who is an NRI living there along with his wife Mary Brown, his two kids and Nafisa, his mother. It seems his father Dharam Singh (Dharmendra) takes his other child Gajodhar Singh (Bobby) and flees away as he wished to lead a life of crime. Nafisa misses Dharam a lot. So, Paramveer pledges to go to India and get his father and brother back. He lands in Banaras where he finds them but they refuse to acknowledge him. Later, they accept him only because of the help that he could provide them in their con job with the help of his muscle power.
In the midst of all this Gajodhar falls in love with Sardarni Saheba, the name of the character played by Kuljeet. But, she is forcefully taken to Punjab by her family especially her elder brother, Joginder, played by Anupam Kher. Paramveer then comes up with a plan to get them united for which the trio head to Punjab where more fun, action, drama and confusion enfold.

Plus Point: The hardcore fans of the Deols will surely love the movie. The movie involves a whole lot of Deols. The comic timing between Dharamendra and Sunny is simply awesome. The action scenes with Paramveer are simply outstanding especially the one which involves the bar deserves applause.

Performance: In terms of acting- Sunny does it the best. Nafisa doesn't have much to do in the movie while Randhawa does a decent job in the scenes where she is seen.

Music: The music is done by a host of directors like Laxmikanth Pyarelal, Anu Malik, Nauman Javed, RDB, Rahul Seth, Sandesh Sandilya and many more yet, the songs in the movie fail to impress. It is only the title track sung by Sonu Nigam which will strike the right note with you.

Direction: Samir Karnik did seem to enjoy himself while making the movie. However, the first half of the movie seems slow paced and boring. At times, the love story brewing between Gajodhar and Sardarni also seem stretched. It is only in the second half that the movie becomes more fun with hilarious scenes and dialogues. Too many unnecessary songs in the movie tend to make them film a lot longer.

Conclusion: The movie is good for a one time watch and for the Deol fans. It will surely leave you in splits by the ending credits. However, be advised not to use your brain while you watch the movie.

Verdict: Go for it!
