Films based on the adventures of superman are always hit because this is a hit formula for Hindi films as well Hollywood films. Such films are liked by whole family, especially children and attract huge mass to the theaters. This is the reason why SPIDERMAN and its sequels, and films like KRISSH etc were super hit.

The movie ZOKKOMON is also about the deeds of a super man but this time it is not a super man but a super child; hence very few people are going to digest the fact that even a child can be a super man.

Story : Kunal (Darsheel Safari) who is 11 years old has lost his parents in an accident and now stays with his uncle Deshraaj (Anupam Kher) who is a greedy person. Deshraaj wants to grab all his wealth hence he wants to get rid of him. One day Deshraaj takes Kunaal to an isolated place and leaves him there in order to get rid of him. Kunaal keeps wandering on the streets and roads when he meets Kittu (Manjari Fadnis). Kittu considers him as her younger brother and keeps with herself.

Meanwhile Kunaal recalls the lessons given by his father that reminds him that you are only powerful as long as you consider yourself powerful. If you feel yourself weak, you would become weak.

Meanwhile Kunaal starts realizing that there was some sort of powers hidden within him. He feels that he was not like any ordinary child. One day coincidently Kunaal happens to meet a magician (Anupam Kher in double role). His appearance appears very scary and frightful because of his long beard, long hair and fearsome eyes. Children and other people considered him a crazy and mad person and kept aloof from him.

But when Kunaal meets him he comes to know that he was a scientist and was involved in completing his special research. When Kunaal meets this magician, he recognizes his hidden powers and he arms him with his invented powers and converts Kunaal from a common man to a ZOKKOMON.

Performance : Anupam Kher had performed brilliantly in double roles especially he has put all his efforts to do well as the magician cum scientist.

Manjari Fadnis has nothing significant to do and is just a part of the story.

Tinu Anand is also good in his role.

Some stunts filmed on the protagonist Darsheel Safari are excellent. He has acted also well. It appears that he has done a lot of labour to do the stunts.

Music : Music given by Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy are not up to the mark. You can only feel it in the theretres while watching the movie but after getting out of the theater you won't find music so impressive that you can buy its CD or DVD to play again and again.

However lyrics by Javed Akhtar, is good.

Director: The director has tried to send a good message to the society but he became a bit weak in his presentation and treatment which would affect the film business.

However, the team of this film should be appreciated who dared to make a film for children.

Plus Point: Children would enjoy the stunts but don't let them follow at home.

Verdict : You should take your children to watch it because they would enjoy. Forget your likes and dislikes while watching the film.
