Has the Sushant Singh Rajput starrer ‘RAW’ been put on the backburner?
Announced with much fanfare, Sushant Singh Rajput’s film RAW has been put on the hold as no producer is showing interest in investing money on the project.

Fresh from the debacle of his last release Raabta , Sushant Singh Rajput has now started preparing for his next film Chanda Mama Door Ke . Besides this movie, he also has some other plum projects in his hands, including Abhishek Kapoor ’s Kedarnath , which marks the acting debut of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh ’s daughter Sara Ali Khan , and Karan Johar ’s Drive with Jacqueline Fernandez . RAW, Romeo Akbar Walter , is also one of the films which was announced a couple of months with Sushant Singh Rajput headlining the cast. But if latest reports are to be believed, the film has been put on the hold due to no producer interest.
A source told a leading daily, “RAW was announced even before Drive but the film is not happening at all. No producer is willing to put in money on the project as it has a big budget. Sushant, in the meantime, is gearing up for Chanda Mama Door Ke and Kedarnath. So, Sushant doesn’t even have dates to fit in RAW at the moment.”
Sushant is currently focussing on his space adventure film Chanda Mama Door Ke , which is being produced by Eros International and Viki Rajani , while National Award-winner filmmaker Sanjay Puran Singh is helming the project.
