Priya Gupta sets up her own film production company titled ‘Mataram Films’
She sets up her own moviemaking banner in association with her friend Kalpana Udyawar.

Priya Gupta , one of the most well-regarded professionals from the world of Media and the Entertainment Business in India had quit T-Series from the position of President (Films) close to a fortnight ago to start her own Film Production Company. She has now launched her Film production company titled Mataram Films along with her friend Kalpana Udyawar.
Mataram Films wants to tell stories from India that will make India proud.’ Confirming the same the founder and Director of Mataram Films, Priya Gupta says, ‘I am a woman, a mother, and a daughter and deeply respect my motherland. We want to tell stories from our Motherland and make simple films with great Directors, Actors, and Technicians that will make us all proud as Indians. Thought of many creative names but settled on Mataram Films. Vande Mataram!!!’
Mataram Films is currently working with several directors and will announce their film slate soon.
