Salman to co-produce Canadian Project

It is a much known fact that many acting scenes are shot nowadays in foreign countries. Now, Bollywood is in mood of venturing into producing cross border movies as well. And guess who would be initiating this? It's Salman Khan with his 'Being Human Productions'- his own production house.

It is a much known fact that many acting scenes are shot nowadays in foreign countries. Now, Bollywood is in mood of venturing into producing cross border movies as well. And guess who would be initiating this? It's Salman Khan with his 'Being Human Productions'- his own production house.

According to a buzz, if all things fall in place, SKBH will be acclaimed as the co-producers of 'Dr Cabbie' - a Canadian project. The movie revolves around an Indian jobless immigrant doctor-turned-taxi driver. He makes conversion of his taxi into a mobile chic and becomes a local hero. The shooting of the film commenced early this week. This would be a directorial venture by Jean-Francois Poulliot - a Canadian director.

The other cast in the film include Vinay Virmani , Kunal Nayyar, Adrianne Palicki, Mircea Monroe, Lillete Dubey and Rizwan Manji . The Canadian flick 'Dr Cabbie' would also launch newcomer Isabelle Adjani .

In 2011, SKBH Productions were launched and the revenues garnered by its films are donated to Being Human charity projects. ' Chillar Party ' - a kids' drama, was the first project done by SKBH. The Indian government awarded three National Film Awards to ' Chillar Party ' along with awarding it as 'Best Children's Film'.
