Famous director Sanjay Gupta names his second born daughter as ‘Dalai’ on 26th of January in a sophisticated and private ceremony which was held at his Yari Road residence.

Famous director Sanjay Gupta names his second born daughter as 'Dalai' on 26th of January in a sophisticated and private ceremony which was held at his Yari Road residence. Daily Soap Queen and producer Ekta Kapoor who attended this ceremony along with the team of her upcoming film ' Shootout At Wadala ' suggested this unique name to the director and his wife Anu. She has blessed the new born with a gold coin which is beautifully carved.
Ekta also previously helped the couple in deciding the date of birth of the child. As Anu was suggested to have a cesarean by her doctors, the couple wanted their child to take birth on an auspicious day. So Ekta consulted her astrologer and helped Sanjay and Anu in the decision of Anu's delivery. The date came up for the birth of Sanjay's baby girl was 14th January, the auspicious day of Makar Sankranti.
Sanjay has confirmed this news and said that, "Dalai means ocean. Dalai Lama is a ocean of knowledge and my daughter Dalai brought us a ocean of joy and happiness with her." The director further expressed his feelings that they both loved this name a lot and long ago, they had decided that if they have daughter in future, they will name her Dalai.
