Vidyut Jammwal & Shruti Haasan commence shooting for Mahesh Manjrekar’s next!
Produced by Vijay Galani and Pratik Galani, the film will be a gangster drama, based on the lines of Manjrekar’s blockbuster film, Vaastav.

Ace filmmaker and actor, Mahesh Manjrekar , is back to direction and that too with a genre he is the master of – gangster drama. For his next, he has roped in the high-flyer Vidyut Jammwal and the very talented, Shruti Haasan . Though the title of the film is yet to be decided, Manjrekar, along with the lead actors commenced the shoot today. The film will be a gangster drama, and it is being produced by Vijay Galani and Pratik Galani , who backed Salman Khan ’s Veer .
Both the actors revealed the big news on Twitter.
While Vidyut tweeted, “New day, new beginnings! Its Day 1 of my next film directed by @manjrekarmahesh! @Vijay_Galani @shrutihaasan #GalaniEntertainment”
Shruti, on the other hand, captioned her tweet, “And here’s to another one !! Day 1 of my next film directed by @manjrekarmahesh with @VidyutJammwal again! #GalaniEntertainment #movies #fun #dayone #excited #director #amazing”
Earlier, talking about Manjrekar’s film, Producer Vijay Galani has said in a statement, "I'm very happy to team up with national award-winning director Mahesh Manjrekar. The film is full on action which is Mahesh's forte. It is on the lines of 'Vaastav' and Vidyut who is known for his action is now the lead of our film."
This is the debut collaboration between the actors and director and we wish them all the best for their new project.
