Actor-filmmaker Basil Joseph shares picture with newborn daughter Hope Elizabeth; SEE PICS!

Recently Actor-filmmaker Basil Joseph was seen in the Malayalam chartbuster film Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey. on Wednesday, he took to Twitter and introduced his newborn daughter to the world. He shared a picture from the hospital room and described her as their happiness. He also mentioned that she had already stolen their hearts.

Basil was seen holding his daughter while his wife was lying on the hospital bed in the pictures. The couple was seen visibly happy to welcome the newest family member. Basil shared a tweet, "Thrilled to announce the arrival of our little bundle of joy, HOPE ELIZABETH BASIL! She has already stolen our hearts, and we are over the moon with love for our precious daughter. We can't wait to watch her grow and learn from her every day."

Many fans have showered their love on the newborn. A person tweeted, "Many congratulations! Welcome, Hope!" Another commented, "Congratulations Basil. God bless the little newborn baby."

Basil rose to fame with his Malayalam superhero film Minnal Murali last year. The film was directly streamed on the OTT platform Netflix by skipping its theatrical release. The film storyline revolves around a neighborhood tailor who becomes struck by lightning and changes to superhero powers. The film featured Tovino Thomas as the superhero and Guru Somasundaram as his opponent.

Basil confirmed that the film is turning into a franchise, "Surely, there are strong reasons to believe Minnal Murali can become a franchise. Discussions are happening, but nothing has been confirmed yet to make an official announcement."

The film producer Sophia Paul also confirmed its sequel plan. She said, "It's too early to talk about what lies ahead, but yes, we will soon announce the sequel, a bigger extravaganza. As I said, I can't talk about what we have in mind, but it's going to be a hell of a ride."
