King Of Kotha: Dulquer Salmaan POSTPONES Film’s Trailer Release on THIS Date In Honour To Malayalam Director Siddique’s Death

Following the passing of well-known Malayalam director Siddique, the makers of Dulquer Salmaan's 'King of Kotha' will not release the movie's trailer on August 9, 2023 as originally scheduled. On Tuesday, August 8, 2023 Siddique passed away at the age of 69. On August 7, 2023, around 3 pm, he experienced a heart attack and was taken to the hospital in critical condition. 'King of Kotha's' producers previously declared that the film's trailer would be published on August 9, 2023.
‘King Of Kotha,’ which is directed by Abhilash Joshiy, is a dream job for Dulquer Salmaan. According to rumours, the trailer would be released alongside Rajinikanth's upcoming movie ‘Jailer,’ which hits theatres on August 10, 2023. The producers, however, have opted not to release the trailer as planned in light of Siddique's passing.
The publication of the KOK trailer has been delayed as a result of the passing of filmmaker Siddique, according to a tweet from Dulquer's Wayfarer Films. The group also sent its deepest condolences to Siddique's family and other close relatives.
After Siddique's passing, Dulquer Salmaan also sent his sympathies. Siddique and Lal collaborated on a number of films with Mammootty, his father.
Siddique, a well-known Malayalam director, passed away on August 8, 2023. He had a heart attack on Monday and was taken to Kochi's Amrita Hospital for treatment. Before having a heart attack, the director was receiving treatment for liver problems and pneumonia. Following his illness, an Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) equipment supported Siddique.

'King Of Kotha' looks to be a crowd-pleaser. Prasanna is portrayed by Shahul Hassan, Tara by Aishwarya Lekshmi, Manju by Nyla Usha, and Ranjith by Chemban Vinod Jose. Tony will be portrayed by Gokul Suresh, Ravi by Shammi Thilakan, Malathi by Shanthi Krishna, and Rithu by Anikha Surendran. Under his own label, Dulquer Salmaan is co-producing the movie. Zee Studios and Wayfarer Films are the sponsors of ‘King of Kotha.’
