Kushi: Director Shiva Nirvana Reveals What He Likes Most About Vijay And Samantha’ s Acting (Details Inside)

Shiva Nirvana, the director of the movie ‘Kushi’, praised Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vijay Deverakonda for their outstanding performances. He also praised them for adding elements of plausibility to their characters and on-screen personas. Shiva Nirvana spoke candidly about how these actors give their roles more depth and vitality in an interview.
Shiva Nirvana discussed the credibility element that performers like Samantha and Vijay bring to their on-screen performances throughout the interview. He said that performers who have complete mastery of their craft and acting genius can go more deeply into their characters.

"Actors like Nani, Vijay Deverakonda, and Samantha among others have that brilliance. It is so simple that, if the actors didn't have that command, we wouldn't watch them playing many different roles and succeed every time," he said.
The director further adds, “The believability completely depends on their performance. Look at Sam garu in the film's poster. Does she look like this in her Instagram profile?” The director added that he thinks it's his responsibility as a director to encourage and assist his actors in developing a deeper understanding of the characters they play in the movies.
"I won't enact all the time and mostly focus on narrating the script, making the actors understand the characters' nuances. I speak to the actors a lot just about the characters," he continued.

The audience believed that ‘Kushi's’ ultimate runtime of 163 minutes was a bit excessive and too long for a light rom-com entertainer. Shiva Nirvana confirmed that he never second-guessed the movie's theatrical runtime or thought about shortening it. Shiva said, “What matters is the overall feel a film carries, and not its duration.”
