Samantha Prabhu, the most popular actress from the South has a number of films lined up for release. But the most awaited project of the actress is Kushi as she is set to star alongside the nation’s heartthrob, Vijay Deverakonda. She will feature opposite him in their next titled Kushi. A number of films have been postponed owing to her health issues or some other. And again this time, her and Vijay starrer film which was set to hit the theatres this year in December has got pushed to next year. Know why!

Vijay-Samantha starrer gets postponed

The film starring Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha will now reportedly have a delayed release date. The release of Kushi has been postponed to next year, according to Vijay Deverakonda, who recently spoke about the matter. The acclaimed actor did, however, announce that the love drama is anticipated to enter theatres by the first quarter of 2023. Talking about the film and her co-star, Vijay revealed, “Being a part of this movie was an amazing experience. When I first saw Samantha on the big screen, I believed I was still in college, and I fell in love with her right away. It is now a fulfilling experience to work on a movie with her and work some magic, and she is a fantastic actress. I'm delighted to introduce Kushi to the world.”

The supposedly lighthearted love story-turned-movie has been in production for a while. In the movie, an unusual love tale takes center stage. In supporting parts in the Shiva Nirvana-directed film are Jayaram, Sachin Khedekar, Murali Sharma, Vennela Kishore, Lakshmi, Rohini, Ali, Rahul Ramakrishna, and others.

In the meantime, Samantha is gearing up for the release of her next film Yashoda, directed by Hari & Harish. The flick is slated to hit the silver screens November 11.
