The film tells the story of Rishi, the CEO of a Fortune 500 company, who comes back to India to help his estranged friend and in turn, ends up saving his village from the claws of a corporate organization preying on farmers. The film was a commercial hit and also won two National Awards in Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment and Best Choreography categories.

The film also stars Pooja Hegde, Allari Naresh, Prakash Raj, Jagapathi Babu, Jayasudha, and others in pivotal roles. Sri Venkateswara Creations, Vyjayanthi Movies, and PVP Cinema together produced the movie, while Devi Sri Prasad rendered soundtracks.

Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu's next, Sarkari Vaari Paata, is set to release on May 12. The movie is directed by Parasuram and will feature Mahesh Babu and Keerthy Suresh as lead characters.
