The National Film Awards declared the list of winners on Thursday evening. The Oscar winning film, ‘RRR,’ directed by SS Rajamouli won 6 awards in different categories. Following this success, the ‘RRR’ actor, Ram Charan took to his social media handle and congratulated the entire team of the film and the director. The actor also congratulated the other winners of major categories like Alia Bhatt, Kriti Sanon and Allu Arjun.
The actor shared on Twitter, ‘A moment of pride! heartiest congratulations to Team RRR and the visionary SS Rajamouli Garu on their six National Awards.’

‘RRR’, which was released in 2022, received its U/A certificate in 2021 which qualified it for this year's edition of the National Film Awards. The SS Rajamouli directorial put India on the global map with an Oscar win in 2021 for the song 'Naatu Naatu'. On Thursday, it won six National Film Awards in categories that include Best Male Playback Singer (Kaala Bhairava and Komuram Bheemudu), Best Film for Wholesome Entertainment, Best Action Direction Award King (Soloman), Best Choreography (Prem Rakshith), Best Special Effects (V Sreenivas Mohan) and Best Music Direction Award -Background Score (MM Keeravaani).
