Rajinikanth is referred as the ‘God’ among the South Indians. The ‘Jailer’ actor is held in a very high position among his fans all over India. Recently, the actor paid a visit to Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s residence during his recent trip to Lucknow.
Now, a video has surfaced of him touching feet and taking the blessing of the Chief Minister. This sparked a rage of controversy among the South Indians who felt it was ‘disrespectful’ to the actor as the Chief Minister is considerably young as compared to the actor.
Taking all the controversy into account, the superstar responded that he has a habit of touching feet as an act of Spirituality, regardless of a person’s age.
He says, “Whether a Sanyasi or Yogi, it is my habit to fall at their feet even if they are younger than me. That’s what I did.”
Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer,’ directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, is making an uproar in the Box Office. The film has already crossed the 500-crore mark at the International Box Office, his second film to do so after ‘2.0’.
