The movie has received back-to-back nominations since winning the big award at the 2023 Golden Globes. The Hollywood Critics Association Awards recently announced that RRR has won in four categories.
It is a great achievement in itself and also for the nation to be nominated for the Best Original Song at Oscar 2023 for the song Naatu Naatu from the film. Now, there is another proud moment for the nation as the song will be performed live at the Oscars.
Kaala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunjwill perform Naatu Naatu at Oscars
Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava will make their Oscar stage debut while singing the Oscar-nominated song, which the Academy has confirmed. No information has been released regarding Ram Charan or Jr. NTR joining them on stage. With its infectious rhythm and dance by actors Ram Charan and N.T. Rama Rao Jr., Naatu Naatu, with music by Keeravaani and lyrics by Chandrabose, is one of the most remembered scenes from SS Rajamouli's action blockbuster RRR. Singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairavawill appear at Los Angeles' Dolby Theatre to perform the song.

The song was also released in several languages under the names Naacho Naacho in Hindi, Halli Naatu in Kannada, Naattu Koothu in Tamil, and Karinthol in Malayalam. With over 122 million views on YouTube, Naatu Naatu has become a worldwide trend. Naatu Naatu has already received a number of prestigious honours. The song won the Golden Globe for Best Original Song in January. In the 28th Critics' Choice Awards, it also won Best Foreign Language Film and won Best Music once again.
The 95th Academy Awards also known as the Oscars will be held this month (March 12, 2023) and is set to be hosted by popular celebrity Jimmy Kimmel. It will be one of the biggest moments or achievements if Naatu Naatu wins the Oscars.
