Samantha Prabhu’s close sources clear rumours of her going to the US for treatment; adds, ‘She is currently on an intense training for Citadel’

Samantha Ruth Prabhu is currently one of the most popular and loved actresses in the film industry. Earlier there were reports that the actress has been suffering from some skin problem for which she flew to the United States for treatment. Today, a source close to her has dismissed all the rumours and shared a piece of good news that has got all her fans relieved.

Samantha Prabhu’s mythological film, Shaakuntalam with director Gunasekhar is slated to release in theatres on November 4

Samantha had announced earlier that she will be featured in Raj & DK’s Citadel. On appearing at Karan Johar’s show where she mentioned the same too. And now a source close to her has informed, “Samantha has been concentrating on building and working for her character for Citadel in the US. In order to adopt the physical features of her character in the series, she is there adhering to an extremely stringent fitness and lifestyle regimen. She is there receiving action-related training from famous industry experts.”

Well, it will be exciting to watch all her hard work pay off in Citadel when it releases. Meanwhile, Samantha starrer Shaakuntalam’s date was announced today. Directed by Gunasekhar, the film will be made available to all theatres from November 4. Apart from this, she also has Kushi which stars India’s heartthrob Vijay Deverakonda, and Directors Hari & Harish’s sci-fi thriller Yashoda.
