Vaashi trailer: Tovino Thomas and Keerthy Suresh are battling it out to win a major case
Tovino Thomas and Keerthy Suresh are currently prepping for the release of their film Vaashi, which is slated for June 17, 2022 release. The makers of Vishnu G Raghav's upcoming film have finally unveiled the much-anticipated trailer. Tovino Thomas and Keerthy Suresh, two lawyers, will clash in the courtroom in order to win a crucial case whose "judgement will leave a mark on society."
In the beginning of the trailer, the young lawyers are quite fond of each other. However, after becoming entangled in a case, the two are torn apart.
The trailer doesn't tell much about the case, but it appears to take a toll on the lawyers' personal lives. “The judgement of this case will leave a mark on the society,” Tovino's character says in the trailer.
After an eight-year absence, Keerthy Suresh makes her full-fledged return to Malayalam cinema with Vaashi. She appeared briefly in Marakkar Arabi Kadalinte Simham (2021), a film starring Mohanlal. Keerthy's father, G Suresh Kumar, is backing Vaashi.
Vaashi is a courtroom drama written and directed by Vishnu G Raghav. Tovino Thomas and Keerthy Suresh are unquestionably the film's highlights. Tovino Thomas has received international praise for his superhero film Minnal Murali (2021), which was released last year, and Keerthy Suresh is a National award-winning actress and one of South Indian cinema's most sought-after stars.
