Vijay Deverakonda, who was last seen in the film Kushi starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu, was creating headlines and gaining lakhs of fans with his presence. The actor recently revealed that his next movie will be with filmmaker Parasuram, who previously collaborated with Vijay in the 2018 romantic comedy ‘Geetha Govindham,’ featuring his alleged lover, Rashmika Mandanna. The film went on to become a box office smash, beloved for its sentimental and uncomplicated undertones.

Now that the actor and director have reunited, it is predicted that the picture, provisionally dubbed ‘VD13’, would include the same emotional content that will resonate with the public and fulfill as a family entertainer.

Vijay Deverakonda tweeted the official announcement photo. The actor captioned the shot, "Oct 18. 18:30. #VD13," confirming the timing of the title and teaser release. The image also showed Vijay and a few schoolchildren strolling, hinting to the film's likely theme.

Meanwhile, Mrunal Thakur, who plays 'Sita Ramam' opposite Dulqeer Salman, is now filming for the film. The film also features a competent staff, with composer Gopi Sunder handling the musical tracks and soundtracks, who previously worked on ‘Geetha Govindham.’ Parasuram will direct the film.

Vijay Deverakonda's last film, ‘Kushi’, directed by Majili filmmaker Shiva Nirvana, earned mixed reviews but was warmly accepted by the crowd. Hesham Abdul Wahab, who earlier worked extensively on the Malayalam musical-comedy film ‘Hridayam’ starring Pranav Mohanlal and Kalyani Priyadarshan, created the film's musical compositions. The film was well received by audiences since Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu reunited after the success of ‘Mahanati’, starring Keerthy Suresh and Dulquer Salmaan.
