Has Salman Khan put forward old friend Govinda’s name for ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10’?

We all know that superstar Salman Khan and Hero No. 1 Govinda ’s friendship goes back to the time when Govinda was an established superstar and Salman was a struggler trying to get into films. But with his sheer hard work and dedication, Salman soon gained his footing in the industry and became a superstar as popular as Govinda . In 1997, both even did a film called Deewana Mastana wherein Khan appeared in a guest appearance.

But as the wheel of time rolled, the table turned. Govinda , who was a superstar once, lost his stardom while Salman kept achieving one milestone after the other. When Govinda ’s career tumbled down by the beginning of the 2000s, it was Salman Khan who came to his rescue and offered him an equally meatier role in his film Partner in 2007. Salman helped Govinda again when the former requested filmmaker Nikhil Advani to offer a role to Govinda in his directorial debut Salaam-E-Ishq . But soon their friendship turned sour and both have not worked together since then.

But now, if reports are to be believed, forgetting all animosity, Salman Khan has suggested Govinda ’s name as a judge on the 10th season of the upcoming celebrity dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. It happened so that Salman, who is all set to host the next season of Colors controversial reality show Bigg Boss, was in touch with the officials of the channel. The makers were planning to launch the next season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa right after Bigg Boss 11 comes to an end. They had many names on the table as the judges of the dance reality show but were not very sure about anyone. It was then Salman casually suggested his old buddy Govinda ’s name which everyone seemed to have liked. If the makers give a serious consideration to superstar’s suggestion, we will soon see Govinda sitting on the judge’s seat on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10.
