Abhishek Malhan, the first runner-up of 'Bigg Boss OTT 2,' has been approached for the upcoming season of 'Bigg Boss 17,' according to reports. However, Malhan has said that he will only participate in the show if Asim Riaz, the runner-up of 'Bigg Boss 13', is also a contestant.

Malhan said that he has been receiving a lot of requests from his fans to participate in 'Bigg Boss 17'. However, his family and friends do not want him to do the show again. Malhan himself is also hesitant to participate, but he feels that he is made for reality shows after seeing all the edits and fan posts.
Malhan said that he is willing to participate in 'Bigg Boss 17' only if there are good players in the show like Asim Riaz. He said, "I want to go to the season where good players come like Asim and all. I mean, I love Asim, I really respect him a lot. I don't know why I feel he should also come back sometime, and when he comes back... Endemol or JioCinema, whoever is watching, if you ever want to bring me, then bring Asim bhai too."
'Bigg Boss 17' is expected to begin in October end. However, it was recently revealed that the show will begin from October 15 during the 'Bigg Boss OTT 2' reunion.
