We are aware of the close relationship that Sumbul Tougeer has with Touqeer Khan, her father. The ‘Bigg Boss 16’ star, who was recently seen in Imlie, has always respected her father and talked about how he raised his two kids by himself. Saniya and Sumbul's sister have now persuaded their father to remarry. The following week, Touqeer Khan wed Nilofer, a divorcee with a daughter.

Speaking about her father's big day, Sumbul says, "We are very happy and looking forward to welcoming them into our family. Along with our father's wife, a new sister will also join our family and we are extremely excited about it. Our father has been our greatest source of inspiration and support for the last many years. Saniya and I are very happy for him. Our bade papa Iqbal Hussain Khan (he was seen on ‘Bigg Boss 16’ during the family week) played an instrumental role in this marriage. I am grateful to him."
The actress, who was last seen on ‘Bigg Boss 16’, has been in the news because of an alleged argument she had with Fahmaan Khan, a friend and co-star in the movie ‘Imlie’. Fahmaan assured us in an interview that he and Sumbul would always be friends, but recently Sumbul also spoke out about the rumours.
She was questioned by the paparazzi about the ongoing argument with Fahmaan, she said, "Nothing like that. Hum badhija hain hamara badhija chal raha hai."
She will soon be seen in a single music video. Talking about it, she said, "The upcoming song is extremely special to my sister, dad, and me and we are working our best on it. The major reason why it is special is that Saniya and I have sung it. It is ready and we are waiting to shoot the video."
