Bigg Boss OTT season 2 concluded recently with Elvish Yadav lifting the coveted trophy. He made history by becoming the first ever wildcard contestant of any show to take the trophy home. Abhishek Malhan finished as the first runner up followed by Manisha Rani as the second runner up.

Right after the show culminated, the buzz about the next season of the show on Colors has been doing the rounds. Bigg Boss 17 is slated to hit the TV screens in the month of September or October. Names of contestants have started floating. As per reports, this year, the theme of the show is Single versus Couples. Reports have it that actor Samarth Jurel of ‘Maitree’ fame can be a part of the project. Also, power couple Kanwar Dhillon and Alice Kaushik are speculated to be a part of the show.

Earlier in the day, we reported about 'RadhaKrishn' fame Sumedh Mudgalkar and Mallika Singh being considered for the show. Also, Neil Bhatt and Aishwarya Sharma names have been floating in the media for Bigg Boss 17.

Now, we have exclusively learned that actress Sonal Vengurlekar who has been a part of projects like Saam Daam Dand Bhed, Yeh Hai Chahatein, Yeh Vaada Raha among others has been approached for the show. A little birdie also informed us that Sonal was also approached for Bigg Boss OTT 2.

A source revealed, "Makers are in talks with Sonal but things are yet to materialize".
