Charu Asopa 'cordial' with Rajeev Sen for daughter Ziana's parenting; duo regret things said in the past

Estranged couple Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen, who are proceeding with a divorce, have decided to remain on cordial terms for the sake of their daughter Ziana's upbringing.

Asopa, a Television actress, and Rajeev (who happens to be the brother of actress Sushmita Sen) had hit the headlines earlier this year when the duo announced separation. Before this, both Rajeev and Charu had patched up once but in vain. Hence they filed for a divorce.

Charu Asopa does not want any negativity to affect her daughter Ziana's upbringing

Both Charu and Rajeev have decided to stay cordial to each other for the sake of their daughter Ziana's parenting. “Rajeev and I, are going to regret the things that we said in the past... But it's all a thing of the past. It is time for us to move on,” said Charu in a recent interview.

The 'Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye' actress also reflected that their daughter is growing up fast and that she is slowly understanding things. She also emphasized that despite what happened between her and Rajeev, she doesn't wish that to affect her daughter's parenting in any negative way.

She further adds that a lot has already been said and done from both sides and when Ziana grows up, she will see a lot of things.

Charu Asopa & Rajeev Sen: Love gone kaput!

Noteworthy, Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen tied the knot in 2019 after dating each other for quite some time. However, their marriage hit rock bottom almost immediately and their relationship only soured with time.

In November 2021, the couple welcomed their first child, a girl whom they named Ziana. This was after a brief period of reconciliation when they were trying to sort out problems.

However, things didn't fall into place and both Rajeev and Charu decided to go call it quits.
