‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’ contestants' social media presence and continuing conflicts continue to engage fans. Contestants such as Abhishek Malhan, Manisha Rani, Elvish Yadav, and Jiya Shankar have all made headlines for various reasons. Elvish Yadav has accused someone close to him of spreading false information about him. His supporters imagined it was Abhishek Malhan and began making disparaging remarks about him. Abhishek denied engaging in any form of public relations and even asked Elvish to explain his views.
During the controversy, Manisha Rani, who is much closer to Abhishek Malhan, teased a picture with Elvish Yadav, which enraged #AbhiSha (Abhishek and Manisha) followers, who accused Manisha of preferring a project with Elvish over a project with Abhishek.

Manisha Rani explained in a recent vlog that she was in talks for a project with Abhishek Malhan. She added that she had never refused to work with Abhishek, but that her team was working on arranging her dates.
When Abhishek brought it to her attention that her team hadn't gotten back to him regarding appearing in a film together, Manisha assured him that she would work with him. Manisha stated that they are mature and that this will not cause a schism in their friendship. While she will undoubtedly work with Abhishek, she accepted an invitation to work alongside Elvish Yadav because it is job and she desires everyone continued to work.
