Bigg Boss 14 contestant Aly Goni and Bigg Boss 13 alum Asim Riaz have a long history together as they know each other for a long time and are childhood friends. Yesterday, the two took to social media to share an update with their fans. They shared a snapshot of them dressed in white and wrote in the caption that they are going to perform their first Hajj together.

This is one of the most important periods for Muslims to fast. Many other celebrities performed Umrah during Ramadan this year. For the uninitiated, visiting the Kaaba is a pilgrimage to the holy city of Mecca. It is a very spiritual and significant journey for Muslims.

On Instagram, Asim posted a photo of them during their flight and penned, “RAMADAN MUBARAK … Allah Hu Akbar..! #umrahwithakty also had a checkered scarf tied as a turban.” The two were seen draped in white robes in the photograph. Aly wore a striped scarf as a turban.

Aly Goni headed to his own Instagram account today to share the latest news with fans. The actor can be seen in a video he posted celebrating the completion of his first Umrah. Aly and Asim congratulated each other and thank the trip operator for their success.

Celebrities performing ‘Umrah’

Not just Asim and Aly, but also actress Hina Khan and tennis player Sania Mirza. Hina traveled to Mecca before Ramadan to complete her first Umrah. She shared some photos and videos from her vacation to the UAE on her Instagram stories. During her visit to Mecca, she wore a white outfit and a white hijab. Sania Mirza recently traveled to Saudi Arabia's twin holy sites with her family to perform Umrah. She posted photos of herself with her family on Instagram.
