The news of television actress Jigyasa Singh bidding adieu to her popular show Thapki Pyar Ki on Colors came as a huge surprise for her fans and ardent admirers of the show. Earlier, some people thought that it was just yet another baseless rumour. However, it is certain now that the actress has indeed quit the show.
Talking to an entertainment portal, Singh opened up about what led her to opt out of Thapki Pyar Ki, how difficult it was to leave the show, and much more.
She told the publication that the decision of leaving the show was very, very difficult to take. “I was struggling with the mere thought of leaving the show for the past 2 months, but somehow, I realised that health comes first and I was a little overworked. Hence, I decided to take a break and be alright and then come back. It was very, very difficult and it has been two days since I have not been shooting but the thought comes to my mind every day right after I wake up that I have shoot to go to,” she said.
The actress continued, “Since a long, long time, I have been ignoring my health a lot, since the past 4-5 months, and I did not think that I am overworked but I realised that health is very important and I am young, which is why I have to take care of it, and I have to be my best. That's why I decided to take a break from my TV schedule and then come back.”
