She frequently engages with her followers on social media by sharing content. She updates her fans on her Facebook, which is crammed with some of her amusing photos. Fans often refer to her and Moshin Khan as "Kaira" because of their on-screen chemistry in YRKKH. She currently stars as one of the leads in the Colors television series ‘Bekaboo’.

During an interview with an entertainment news portal, Shivangi Joshi was questioned about the differential treatment given to struggling actors compared to lead actors in the industry today. Shivangi responded, "I have personally experienced the hardships and the discrimination that occur during award functions or media interactions. It took me years before I made my debut in my show. There were senior actors who didn't appreciate a young kid on the set because I lacked knowledge. I was clueless about the shooting language and some seniors complained that I should have learned before coming on set. Such incidents made me realize how terrible it feels when treated that way."

When asked about her personal experiences of feeling mistreated, Shivangi shared, "In my debut show, I remember being placed in a vanity van with junior artists, which made me realize that the treatment I received wasn't favorable. I am sure many actors have faced similar situations, and I understand how it feels. If I work with someone new, I will never treat them that way. Instead, I will motivate and support them by offering as much help as I can."

Regarding finding one's true self in the fake world of entertainment, Shivangi expressed, "Being your authentic self is easy, but sometimes it can lead to trouble. Therefore, I prefer to keep a low profile, avoid controversies, and not speak too much. Due to my introverted nature, people often assume that I am arrogant, rude, or have an attitude. I still remember a time when I struggled to give a byte after performing a difficult scene, and the press labeled it as an attitude problem."

She further added, "The media has also been supportive. There was a time when I wasn't in a lead role, and they were not interested in interviewing me. It was disheartening, but there have also been instances where the media has shown tremendous support. Everyone has their own journey, and facing these bitter experiences is necessary for a successful career."
