Mukesh Khanna recently caused a stir when he told young boys not to send sexual photos and called women who say they want to have sex 'prostitutes.' People were upset by what he said and accused him of being sexist and putting down women. Even though he explained what he said by saying it was a warning to boys who might be blackmailed, both men and women on social media criticised what he said.

In the middle of this fuss, Uorfi Javed went on Instagram to talk about it. She talked about the importance of words and how Khanna did, in fact, say that women were prostitutes because of how they had sex. She also talked about what these kinds of comments mean for sex workers, pointing out that stigmatisation can make them even less popular and put their jobs at risk.

Javed said that Khanna's videos kept spreading racist and Islamophobic ideas. She gave examples of how he shamed women for standing up to sexist customs and told Hindu women who married Muslims to give up their last names. She stressed how dangerous it is for powerful people to spread such harmful ideas.
