Citadel: Samantha Ruth Prabhu to shoot a two-week-long schedule of the series with Varun Dhawan in Mumbai
Samantha Prabhu has always been in the news, be it for her songs, film, divorce, or her illness. She is one of the most popular names in the South industry and now carved her name amongst Bollywood fans too. Samantha Ruth Prabhu is back at work while receiving treatment for the autoimmune disease myositis. Samantha has resumed filming for her upcoming web series Citadel India, in which she will also be starring alongside Varun Dhawan, after taking a lengthy hiatus. Reportedly, Samantha has joined Varun Dhawan on the new schedule for the Raj and DK-directed movie.
Varun shot a few action scenes without Samantha
According to sources, there is a two-week shooting schedule, and the producers plan to officially confirm Samantha's participation in the Russo Brothers' Indian offshoot of the fantasy series Citadel. Varun Dhawan completed a four-day initial schedule for the movie a few weeks ago without Samantha. He filmed a few intense action scenes.
Richard Madden will play Citadel agent Mason Kane and Priyanka Chopra will play Citadel agent Nadia Singh in the Russo Brothers "The Citadel." The main series' filming was finished in June 2022, and post-production is underway. The Family Man filmmakers Raj and DK are in charge of the Indian adaptation of the show.
Samantha’s future releases
Samantha Ruth Prabhu's upcoming mythological movie Shaakuntalam is still being anxiously anticipated. Her look and character and the film is loved by the audience, ever since the makers dropped the trailer. The film is scheduled to open in theatres on February 17th. Apart from this, Sam also has Kushi with south’s heartthrob, Vijay Deverakonda.
