She admitted to violating the no-kissing rule in an interview with Film Companion and expressed her gratitude to Sujoy for picking her for the lead part in Lust Stories 2. Particularly considering how little or no intimacy she has displayed on TV. She admitted that she was the type of viewer who would feel uncomfortable and declare, "I will not kiss on-screen." Tamannaah claimed that 'getting out of that framework, which serviced a certain audience' was an evolution for her. She would not want anything to hinder her as an actor, though, as a lot has evolved as a result of the internet and social media. She went on to say, "This was purely creative endeavour. Now, after 18 years, I am not trying to be famous. That is not my driving force."
