Storyline

In the early 1980s, on the tense India-Pakistan border in Punjab, Nimma, a young Sikh poet from Indian Punjab, falls for Nasima, a Muslim girl from across the border in Pakistani Punjab. Their love grows fiercely, defying politics, faith, and the wall between them.
