Tamil film producer Ravindar Chandrasekaran has been detained in connection with a case of impropriety. The producer was reportedly detained by the Central Crime Branch (CCB) for allegedly defrauding a businessman of Rs. 16 crores.
Since Ravinder is the owner of the renowned production company Libra Productions, this arrest has drawn attention.

A complaint against Ravindar Chandrasekaran has been made to the Chennai Central Crime Branch, claiming that in October 2020, the producer approached to launch a new business in the Power Project by converting municipal solid waste into energy and sought financial assistance with the promise of a good profit. On September 17, 2020, the two parties signed an investment agreement and exchanged Rs. 15,83,20,000. Ravindhar didn't launch his energy company or give the money back after receiving it. A case was opened in CCB, EDF, and investigated as a result of the complaint.
It was discovered during the police inquiry that Ravindhar used the fake paper to get Balaji to invest. The fugitive accused was apprehended in Chennai on the direction of Sandeep Rai Rathore, IPS, and brought before the court. He is now in the custody of the court.
In the Tamil cinema business, Ravindar Chandrasekaran is well known for his contributions. Mahalakshmi, a television actress, is his wife. Additionally, Ravinder has been involved in issues before. He had already been involved in a number of disputes on various occasions.
